Workshops & Classes
Please note that workshops & classes are offered based on sufficient interest, availability of instructors, and scheduled as appropriate to the complexity of the topic.
Most workshops and classes are 2-4 hours long and conclude in a single session. However, licensing classes often require sessions spanning two or more weeks. If you have questions, please contact us. education@w4am.net
Please note that unless otherwise specified, all workshops and classes are held at:
Harrison Community Center
Classroom 7
5637 TN-58

Most educational offerings are given without cost for our club members and interested parties. However, license classes require a fee for the educational materials that are used during the classes, and are available online to you during and after the classes.
We are using Ham Radio Prep ( https://hamradioprep.com/ ) online training classes for our license classes. After you sign up for a license class, you will receive a discount code and will be expected to purchase the appropriate course(s) from Ham Radio Prep. We will instruct you on how to sign up and use the materials for our training classes.
